American Idol - Boys Fashion - Best & Worst Dressed - Top 6

Well we are down to 3 guys to review this week, which makes it easier to pick a best and worst dressed.  However it doesn't excuse when someone makes a bad fashion choice!  This weeks songs were based around the "Idol Gives Back" Theme with songs of inspiration.  Each vote and text helped to raise money for charities around the world this week.  I really think it is great that American Idol used it's reach to help others that are in need.  Well let's get on with it and see who wore what?

Best Dressed Guy - Blake Lewis

He is by far one of the most fashion forward guys to ever be on American Idol.  This week was no different and while it was tough to chose between Blake and Chris this week but I think Chris's outfit was a little to mismatched to be declared Best Dressed!  Blake however had it together with a really cool jacket, a light pink graphic t-shirt and a pair of dark jeans.  Get the look here.

Worst Dressed Guy - Phil Stacey

While this look wasn't horrible I just didn't think it showed any personality.  He always seems to have such a boring look.  The jacket wasn't very attractive with the satin lapels and he always seems to blend away against everyone else's outfits.  If you like this look though you can get it here.

Body Exposed - Sexy Men's Underwear from the U.K.

While surfing around the internet today I came across the website BodyExposed.  After browsing around the site I found some really sexy stuff.  With unique men's underwear in great styles like thongs, g-strings and lots of mesh, sheer and see-thru underwear!

The Breezy Short is an informal, lightweight short made of parachute weight nylon.  Wow! I love nylon, it's probably even a bit of a fetish of mine.  There is nothing as hot as a guy in nylon shorts.  I make Brady wear them all the time... lol

The Skrim Short was another one that caught my eye.  It's a sexy seamless short that looks like it fits tight in all the right places.

Now for the kinky side of me I really liked the Metal Zip Short. It's shimmery and smooth l ook with zippers on each side makes for an exotic look.  Not to mention the lowrise cut will drive people wild!

How to manufacture premium dik

[BradyUF - Here is the second installment from our friend Marcus, who is part of dik Undergarments.  In this installment we find out what it really takes to manufacture men's underwear.]

The most important aspect of any underwear business is the manufacturing. If we don’t have a manufacturer that can create the premium product we are after, then it doesn’t matter how great our marketing or distribution is, because our discerning buyers would not recommend the underwear to anyone. So because of this, it is in our humble opinion that selecting a manufacturer is one of the most important things you can do.

Unfortunately, it is nowhere near as easy as it sounds. We looked into manufacturers here in Canada. We really wanted to support a local company. But for a start-up, that just isn’t possible. We talked to a few and they so much as said that it is a dying industry in this country. We toured some facilities and more than three quarters of their space was mothballed.

Those that we did speak with that seemed promising had a host of problems with them. First off, very few are one-stop shops. By this, I mean the ones we spoke with said we had to provide the buttons, purchase the massive rolls of fabric, and have the elastic band created elsewhere. They would just marry together all the parts.

On top of all that, the material all came from China, thus creating greater costs in simply shipping the goods here. This is what brings us to our current facility. We’re now working with manufacturers in China. The reality of the garment business is that nearly everyone does business there. There are other places of course that nearly just as popular (Egypt, Korea, Bangladesh etc.), but China was recommended to us.

We consider ourselves lucky because we have some really great contacts in international shipping and manufacturing. So we have a man on the ground in China. However, despite this, nothing is easy. The first manufacturer that returned samples to us was unacceptable.

There was nothing good about the garments. So you really have to be on top of your product and know what you want. Further to that, we really have learned a lot about how a manufacturer works. Because China is a one-stop shop, it’s easy to piece the garment together, but you really need to sweat the details because if you get a facility that isn’t up to par, they will skimp on the details to save cost.

So we ditched our first facility. We didn’t hesitate to do so. Quality is too important to us. But this has delayed us. Now we have a facility known for its quality so we fully expect great results. But with a better facility comes other issues such as their availability, the cost involved and minimum order quantities (the first one being not as immediate, and the latter two being much higher than the initial facility!).

Despite this we are very excited. Things are finalizing as we speak and our source in China is working hard. We’re very optimistic working with this manufacturer and can’t wait to show all you fans of dik what they’re creating for us!

So what did Cowboy Max and Brady think?

Cowboy Max on Cowboy Brady - Well this cow poke sure was hot in his little red bandanna lowrise briefs!  I really like how they showed of those hot hind quarters guess I'll have to put my brand on those hot buns! Yee Haw!

Cowboy Brady on Cowboy Max - Ouch!  It's not easy getting branded.  But anything for my hot cowboy in his blue bandanna lowrise briefs.  These really show some of this cowhands best assets also.  This cowboy can ride anytime!
