Yesterday we posted the new video from Andrew Christian featuring the winner of the 2015 Trophy Boy Contest Jake Parrick. We were fortunate enough to score an interview with this super hot model and it was great fun chatting with Jake.
UF: Why did you decide to try out for the Andrew Christian model search?
Jake: Well last year I had mentioned wanting to do it to a few friends and they were all kinda like.. Mm at least you have big dreams all condescendingly, so I decided screw them and worked all year, tried to get my stuff together, and when it came around for it this year people on Facebook were reaching out to me telling me to try it, so I did, and well I didn't think I'd even make it to the finals but I mean I made it a lot further than I thought and it's awesome because it's something I actually put effort into and a goal that I set for myself and was able to obtain. So it helped to prove to myself that if I want something and work hard enough for it I have what it takes to get it, and I think that's a message people should see and witness, and be able to look at as motivation.
UF: That's awesome. Im really glad you went for it. Not only did you prove it to yourself but to any doubters too.
Jake: Yeah I had a few people during the contest that were real rude about it and were saying stuff like your not gonna win blah blah blah, and among other things because I'm in the process of moving to Vegas as well, so it's like a huge satisfying middle finger to their face.
UF: What do you do for a living?
Jake: I was a bartender in Pittsburgh, I also just got out of the military May 28th. I was a medic in the army national guard for 6 years.
UF: Military men are hot!! Are you hoping to continue your modeling career?
Jake: Honestly I have a lot of work to do to be able to do that, I'm up for the challenge and I'd love to be given that opportunity so I guess we'll have to see what happens.
UF: What does your tattoo say?
Jake: It's been translated to forgiven, I got basically kicked out of my house when I came out to my mom, and I grew up in the church so I got that over my heart to remind me that no matter what I do or how much I may screw up I'm forgiven.
UF: Wow!!
Jake: Plus it's kinda sexy and is similar to Adam Levine's tattoo.
UF: lol yeah its very sexy. Is there anything that not many people know about you that you would be willing to share with my readers?
Jake: Like what kind of dirt do you want to know? Lol
UF: Well are you single? What's your favorite style of underwear? At the beach are you board shorts or Speedo style?
Jake: I am, and very happy so lol, and I like boxer brief styles personally and I'm more of a board shorts person, although I just got a super cute swim brief I'm in love with.
UF: You are obviously in great shape. What is your workout like?
Jake: Well the past few weeks I've been trying to do 2 a days, upper body in the AM and lower body in the PM and throw in cardio when I feel like it, still working on that diet though
UF: What prompted the move to Vegas?
Jake: The money for bartenders is a lot better in Vegas but the cost of living is about the same as Pittsburgh.
